Voice of a Beneficiary
Janice Gray
In June of 2021, life took an unexpected turn for me when I was diagnosed with T-Cell/B-Cell Lymphoma, an aggressive blood cancer. As a military veteran, my medical journey began at the Veterans Administration (VA), and I embarked on a challenging six-month period of extensive chemotherapy treatments through the National Institute of Health (NIH).
Little did I know that a decision I made in the latter part of 2020 would become a beacon of financial support during the toughest moments of my life. A financial services presentation had sparked my interest in a cash accumulation and Living Benefit (LB) life insurance policy. The concept of not only protecting my money but also witnessing it grow resonated with me. In March 2021, I completed the paperwork for this insurance program, not fully comprehending the profound impact it would soon have on my life.
